Yeah, that warehouse that went off was apparently being used to store nitrates. The blast was so strong that it blew mall doors straight out of their frames and shipping containers over.

Not surprising at all, it was something like the equivalent of 3 metric tons of TNT.
For U.S. Oppos, that’s a thousand pounds more TNT than was used in the Oklahoma City Federal Building bombing.

The explosions has been ball parked at the equivalent of 21 tons of TNT going off at once. That explosion was roughly the equivalent of 2100 hellfire missiles going off at once! Though to put a nuclear weapon into perspective, a typical nuke held by the US is 1 megaton, that explosion was 1/47,619th the strength of your average nuclear warhead!
